Frequently asked questions

The conversation we have with every client.

For glass railings we use laminated tempered glass (triplex), with the thickness and configuration determined according to the specific project and the chosen system.

In laminated tempered glass (triplex), two layers of glass are bonded together with interlayer films. This provides additional safety — if breakage occurs, the fragments stay attached to the film instead of the glass shattering freely.

Yes, when they are properly designed, sized and installed with the appropriate safety glass and fixing system.

Every project takes into account the dimensions and thickness of the glass, the fixing method and the specific features of the installation site. Using laminated tempered glass (triplex) provides a significantly higher level of safety compared to ordinary glass.

The different variants are tempered laminated glass made up of two layers of glass and two interlayer films. In 6.6.2 both layers are 6 mm each, while in 8.8.2 they are 8 mm each.

The exact thickness is not chosen based on the glass size alone — it is determined for each project according to the dimensions, the fixing method, the installation site and the technical requirements of the system used.
